Jill Hephzibah Truth
Founder & Medicare Advisor
Jill founded Hometown MN Insurance Brokerage with a clear vision: to create a relationship-centered Medicare practice where people feel informed, supported, and confident in their decisions.
A teacher at heart, Jill has a gift for making complex information easy to understand. With over 15 years of experience in the insurance industry, she guides clients through Medicare with clarity and care.
Born and raised in Litchfield, Minnesota, Jill now lives in Lino Lakes with her partner Scott and their three cats: Jade, Odile, and Odette.
Outside of work, she enjoys gardening, painting, baking, boating, and spending time at the Minnesota State Fair.
Jill Hephzibah Truth

Jill is the owner of Hometown MN Insurance Brokerage LLC. She was born and raised in Litchfield, MN and currently lives in Lino Lakes, MN. She has spent the last 15 years working directly in the insurance industry.
A teacher at heart, Jill thrives on educating people about health insurance plans. With a background in education and customer service, Jill helps consumers navigate through the maze of health insurance and Medicare plans to find the right fit for each person. Jill is also a MNsure Broker Assister.
Jill has a real knack for making complex information easy to understand and values building strong relationships with her clients. Building trust is always her top priority!
Outside of work, Jill loves spending time with her family and friends, three cats (Jade, Odette, and Odile), gardening, knitting, baking, boating, yoga, attending sporting events, spending time at the MN State Fair and volunteering with organizations dear to her heart (Open Arms of MN).
Jill Hephzibah Truth
Jill is the owner of Hometown MN Insurance Brokerage LLC. She was born and raised in Litchfield, MN and currently lives in Lino Lakes, MN. She has spent the last 13 years working directly in the insurance industry.
A teacher at heart, Jill thrives on educating people about health insurance plans. With a background in education and customer service, Jill helps consumers navigate through the maze of health insurance and Medicare plans to find the right fit for each person. Jill is also a MNsure Broker Assister.

Garry W Johnson

Garry Johnson (and wife, Nancy) were 33-year residents of Columbia Heights and recently moved to Blaine. Garry is an inactive CPA with an MBA. He spent 28 years working with large companies as an accounting professional.
For the past 20 years, Garry has served as your local Farmers Insurance Agent and Medicare Advisor in New Brighton, MN. Garry helps customers like you identify the insurance coverages that best fits your needs. This process is straightforward and personalized to help you get smarter about insurance. Garry has the knowledge and experience to help you better understand your coverage options.
Outside of the office, Garry enjoys spending time with his family and friends (especially his 4 grandchildren) and golfing.

Sophia Larsen
Client Experience & Operations
Born and raised in the Twin Cities, Sophia grew up watching her mom build Hometown MN Insurance Brokerage one relationship at a time. She saw early on that this work is about more than insurance. It’s about listening, guiding, and being there for people when decisions feel overwhelming.
As Client Relations Manager, Sophia works closely behind the scenes: coordinating details, answering questions, and making sure nothing falls through the cracks. She is passionate about building relationships and continuing the values her mom established when she founded HMIB.
Outside of work, Sophia is an avid reader who takes pride in her home library. She enjoys spending time outdoors with her family, her partner Lucas, and their three cats.

Client Relations Manager
Born and raised in Twin Cities, Sophia has always had a knack for connecting with people. As the daughter of Jill, she inherited a strong work ethic and a passion for forging meaningful relationships.
After graduating from the University of Minnesota with a degree in English, Sophia embarked on a journey into the world of client relations. With a keen eye for detail and a gift for communication, she is quickly finding her niche in the insurance industry.
For the past year, Sophia has been getting experience working with clients and is now joining the Hometown MN Insurance Brokerage team as a Client Relations Manager. Sophia is very excited to be a part of the team and hopes to provide tailored solutions as well as build strong relationships with all of our clients.
Outside of work Sophia is an avid reader and takes pride in her home library. She also enjoys spending time outdoors with her family, her partner Lucas, and their three cats.
